My Snow Day

The snow is crazy! We have about 10 inches and the wind has blown it into three feet drifts. Thankfully Js shop closed today, along with SDP.

Molly and I have taken a few snow/potty walks. The snow is higher than her at this point. To avoid our neighbors dog we tried to cross the path between to buildings. Ten feet in I realized she had stopped following me. I looked back to see her little face and neck sticking out of the snow. She was so sad! I scooped her up and carried her the rest of the way home. She did have her coat on, of course, so she wasn't too cold. I on the other hand stripped in the hallway for the second time today. People are outside trying to shovel out their cars. Our patio has so much snow blown onto it we can't even open the door. I should fugure out how to post pics so you out of towners can get the full image.

I've been doing a lot of reading and knitting today. I'm reading 1776 by David McCullough, very interesting if you like true behind the scenes history.
My knitting project shall remain secret due to recent bad knitting luck. I will say it's wool and I love it. Strange since my usual wool reaction is "ew, wool is itchy".

I can't wait for school to be done, I need a break.

Stay warm!
